I have discovered a new interest in handmade textile art and weaving. These bowls are an exploration of three-dimensional textile weaving. I have some future artistic plans for these bowls. Hopefully I will post the end results of those ideas soon. Not pictured: some bowls that have been sold.

I love to create any kind of visual art. I love art because I find that I can often articulate thoughts and ideas in art that are not so easily expressed in other manners.
I have created art for many reasons: decoration, personal/emotional expression, inspiration from other artworks etc. I will often focus on a theme for several pieces (even years) and then move on to another theme.
